Die Eichwaldschule ist eine lebendige und vielfältige Schule im schönen Schaafheim. Mit unserem pädagogischen Profil vermitteln wir unseren Schülerinnen und Schülern nicht nur fundiertes Wissen, sondern fördern gezielt auch persönliche und soziale Kompetenzen. Besonderen Wert legen wir auf interkulturelles Lernen, Teamarbeit und innovative Projekte, damit unsere Schülerinnen und Schüler optimal auf die Zukunft vorbereitet sind.

Als Grund-, Haupt- und Realschule mit Förderstufe begleiten wir Kinder und Jugendliche von der 1. bis zur 10. Klasse auf ihrem Bildungsweg. Nach erfolgreichem Abschluss können sie an weiterführende Schulen wechseln oder in Ausbildung und Beruf starten.

Ein wichtiger Schwerpunkt unserer schulischen Arbeit ist die Digitalisierung. In allen Klassen der Eichwaldschule arbeiten wir digital mit iPads. Ab der Klasse 7 benutzt jedes Kind ein eigenes iPad für den Unterricht. Damit eröffnen wir moderne Lern­formen: Lernende nutzen fachspezifische Apps, Office-Programme, künstliche Intelligenz  u.a., und lernen damit, digitale Werkzeuge kritisch und sinn­voll anzuwenden. Unsere Lehrkräfte bilden sich regelmäßig fort und integrieren die Geräte methodisch-didaktisch in den Unterricht.

Wir möchten unseren Schülerinnen und Schülern den Weg nach Europa öffnen und unsere Schule durch internationale Erfahrungen weiterhin stärken und weiterentwickeln. Wir planen die Teilnahme am Erasmus‑Programm möchten die Eichwaldschule als attraktiven Partner für europäische Schulen vorstellen, die an Austauschprogrammen und gemeinsamen Projekten interessiert sind. Wir freuen uns darauf, gemeinsam zu lernen, Erfahrungen zu teilen und neue Wege der Zusammenarbeit in Europa zu gestalten.

The Eichwald School Says Hello to Europe

We are delighted to welcome you to the website of the Eichwald School!

The Eichwald School is a vibrant and diverse school located in the beautiful town of Schaafheim. With our educational profile, we not only provide our students with a solid foundation of knowledge but also actively promote personal and social skills. We place great emphasis on intercultural learning, teamwork, and innovative projects to ensure our students are well prepared for the future.

As a primary, lower secondary, and intermediate secondary school with a promotion level, we accompany children and young people from grade 1 through grade 10 on their educational journey. After successfully completing their studies, they can continue at higher-level schools or start vocational training and careers.

A key focus of our educational work is digitalization. In all classes at the Eichwald School, we work with iPads. From grade 7 onwards, each student uses their own iPad in lessons. This enables modern forms of learning: students use subject-specific apps, office programs, artificial intelligence tools, and more—learning how to use digital tools critically and effectively. Our teachers regularly participate in professional development and integrate these devices into their lessons using sound methodological and didactic approaches.

We aim to open the door to Europe for our students and to strengthen and further develop our school through international experiences. We plan to participate in the Erasmus+ Programme and would like to present the Eichwald School as an attractive partner for European schools interested in exchange programs and joint projects.
